Plot Summary:
Itaewon Class follows the journey of Park Sae-ro-yi, a headstrong and righteous young man whose life is turned upside down after he punches a bully and gets expelled from school. The bully's father, CEO Jang Dae-hee of the powerful Jangga Group, uses his influence to ruin Sae-ro-yi’s life — his father is killed in an accident, and Sae-ro-yi ends up in prison.
Years later, Sae-ro-yi opens a small pub called DanBam in the multicultural neighborhood of Itaewon, Seoul. With the help of a unique team, he begins his mission to turn his small business into a successful franchise — and ultimately take down Jangga Group.
